HDLS LogoThe HDLS Roadrunner Series

The HDLS Roadrunner Series is a series of talks given by students, faculty and outside visitors to the University of New Mexico Linguistics Department. It is organized by the High Desert Linguistics Society, a student organization whose goal is to support the graduate student community in the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Education (Educational Linguistics) in their academic endeavors.

The HDLS Roadrunner Series aims to give students and faculty a forum to discuss current research, as well as to encourage collaboration and the exchange of ideas. The talks take place in the Linguistics Department on a biweekly basis on Friday afternoons. We wish to promote discussions in a relaxed environment where everyone is welcome to attend and participate.

This year's HDLS 12th Biennial Conference will take place November 12th - 14th, 2016 on the third floor of the UNM Student Union Building
